Ban on Plastic and Paper
The Mid City area as well as the rest of the Los Angeles community is looking to join other cities in the banning of paper and plastic shopping bags from mostly all retail stores. The Bureau of Sanitation which is proposing the plan says that it would "cut down" on the amount of trash that is produced. The cost right now for the Bureau of Sanitation is around 300 million per year. The only option left for customers would have to be using reusable bags.
