According to Police crime in Mid City in the last complete week has gone slightly down. In the week between Jan. 23 and Jan. 29, crime reports dipped and property crime reports were about average.
The area between La brea and Redondo is the one being watched by Police constantly. Over the last three months, Mid-City averaged around 6 violent crimes and 20 property crimes per week. The idea behind this is that most houses around this area do not have alarms.
A lot of people in the area have been on vacations when houses have been robbed.
It seems that houses are on constant watch and the thieves always know when to strike.
